Fourth Degree. Knights of Columbus.

What is the Fourth Degree?

Any Third Degree member in good standing is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree.

The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups (called "assemblies").

Certain members of the Fourth Degree serve as honor guards at civic and religious functions, an activity that has brought worldwide recognition to the Knights of Columbus.

Bienville Assembly 314 meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.

We are the largest Catholic lay organization in the world,with more than 2 million men and 17,000 councils worldwide.

We are Catholic men, 18 years and older, who live up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Catholic Church.

We are dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

We have been praised by Popes, Presidents, and world leaders for our support of the Catholic Church, our programs, our civic involvement, and for our charitable aid.
